This notice explains the information involved in using Portable Power Calculator and the choices available to you.
Calculator inputs
The calculators run in your browser. This site's calculator code does not send device names, loads, assumptions, or results to an application server. A plan normally stays in the open page until you save it or create a share link. There is no account or cloud plan library.
Saving and deleting a plan
“Save on this device” writes one plan to this website's local browser storage. Saving another plan replaces that saved copy. “Load saved plan” reads it back in the same browser profile. Other devices and browsers do not automatically receive it.
Use “Delete saved plan” to remove that saved copy, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. “Reset” clears the current calculator form; it does not delete a previously saved plan. Browser settings, private browsing, or storage restrictions may prevent saving or remove saved data.
Share links and printed results
A share link includes the plan inputs after the # in its address. That fragment is not sent as part of the ordinary HTTP request for the page, but it is visible to anyone who receives the complete link. It can also remain in browser history, clipboard history, synced browser data, messages, or backups. Encoding the plan does not encrypt it.
There is no server-side copy that this site can revoke. Deleting a saved plan does not delete links or printouts you have shared. Remove personal or sensitive labels before sharing, and manage copies through the browser, messaging service, or device where they were stored.
Website analytics
The production website uses Umami analytics served from stats.kzfm.com to understand which pages visitors use. The analytics request includes the page address and title, referring page when available, browser language, and screen dimensions. As with other network requests, the receiving service can see connection information such as an IP address.
The integration excludes query strings and URL fragments from page and referrer addresses. Shared calculator inputs stored after the # are therefore excluded from these analytics events. The site does not add device labels, entered loads, calculation results, email addresses, or saved plans to analytics events, and does not configure session replay or user identification.
Analytics is limited to the production domain and respects the browser's Do Not Track signal. Preview builds do not load the analytics script. The configured browser tracker does not set tracking cookies; saving a calculator plan still uses local browser storage only when you choose to save.
Advertising
The site does not run advertising tags. This notice must be updated if advertising or additional data collection is introduced.
Website delivery and external services
Your browser sends connection and request information to the service delivering the website, such as an IP address, the page path, browser information, and request time. Hosting and network services may process that information to deliver the page, protect the service, or diagnose failures. Calculator inputs are not included in those page requests by this site's code.
Manufacturer and other external links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Email is handled by your email service and the recipient's email service. This notice does not describe or control those providers' independent processing.
Messages and privacy questions
If you email a correction or question, your message includes the address and information you choose to send. Send only what is needed to understand the issue. Use the contact page for a privacy question or a request concerning information you have provided; avoid including a private plan when a description is sufficient.

The date above identifies the latest revision. Review this page when using a new feature, particularly one involving saving, sharing, or an external service.
